How does it work?

We rebuild the path of rapid-traverse movements from a motion engineering perspective, optimize positioning behavior, and refine the CNC code. Using our proprietary analysis tools, we identify time-consuming command sequences in part programs and streamline them. The result: more parts per unit of time – with equal or less wear, and without affecting the machine warranty.

z-optimations was founded in 1991 by Michael Zwerger as an engineering office. It started with the design of cams for stamping and bending machines – and a key insight: a precisely planned motion unlocks unexpectedly high optimization potential.

This led to the idea of applying this motion expertise to electronically controlled machines as well. The first successful projects at INA Schaeffler and Bosch confirmed the approach.
